Report content

[PLACEHOLDER] This page is a draft placeholder. The reporting address below is not yet real, and the report form this page describes is not built yet. The page exists so that every public page can already link a reporting route, and so its text is in place for review. (Register: deferred.md C190.)

Report content

[placeholder] If you believe something published through this service is illegal, or infringes your rights or somebody else's, you can report it — whether or not you have an account here.

How to report

[placeholder] Send a message to [placeholder: abuse/notice email address] with:

• the address (URL) of the content you are reporting;
• why you believe it is illegal or infringing, precisely enough that the report can be assessed;
• your name and email address, so the decision can be sent to you — except for certain offences where a report may be made anonymously;
• a statement that you believe, in good faith, that what you report is accurate and complete.

What happens next

[placeholder] You get a confirmation that the report arrived. The report is assessed diligently and without undue delay. If the content is removed or restricted, the person who published it is told what was decided, why, and how to contest it — and so are you.

[placeholder] A web form that files the report directly from the page you are reading will replace the email address described above.
